Co-Operative Public School, Padukkad, viyyur ( Affiliated to CBSE New Delhi Aff: No. 930972) Within a short span of years since its inception, has become immensely popular. This upcoming public School is functioning under the management of the Thrissur Taluk Co-Operative College Educational Society Ltd No. R .728 Which is registered under the Co-Operative Societies act 1969.
The society is so well-known in Kerala for the noble service it has been rendering for the cause of higher education, Mostly through its co operative arts and science college with its varied university courses of studies including post graduate degree courses with an overall enrolment of more than 4500 students.
Co-operative Public School is affiliated to CBSE. The school provides quality education to boys and girls. Students are encouraged to participate in extra-curricular activities that include art, music, sports, theatre and public speaking, among others. The medium of instruction is English and the campus has well-equppied science and computer labs ,and a well-stocked library.
Transportation
School Bus/van is available. Children will be picked up from specific points in the morning and dropped back after the class at stipulated time. It will be the responsibility of parent/guardian to bring and collect their wards from the points in time. Conveyance fee should be remmited along with the Monthly Tuition Fee on or before 10th of every month. Any sort of changes in the transportation mode should be informed in the school office.

The school has already all requisite infrastructure facilities. A first rate play ground for all sports & games activities is a unique asset of ours.
Library
School library is a library within a school where students, staff and non teaching staff have access to a variety of resources. The goal of the school library is to ensure that all members of the school community have equitable access to books and reading, to information and to information technology. School libraries are distinct from public libraries because they serve as learner oriented laboratories which support, extend and individualize the school curriculum. A school library serves as the center and co-coordinating agency for all material in the school.The school library is well stocked with a variety of books like story, novel, poem, and subject books. There are nearly 2500 books. We have a variety of reference books. Students are using it very well. We are also having different periodicals. Students and teachers are advised to use the library effectively. Students on their birthdays donate good books to the school library.
Sports And Games
In the sports arena we bring out the best sporting skill through frequent training and mentoring pattern of activities develop a sound mind in a sound body in a sound environment ,such an approach generate a feeling of sportsmanship and broaden ones outlook . Track and Field Events, Football Cricket, Badminton, Chess, Caroms as well as indigenous sports like Kho-kho, Kabaddy also encouraged here.
Students are healthy and active because Personal health practice become a habit or lifestyle is performed as a daily activity.
Yoga also related to personal life to achieve success in any sphere of life focusing one’s mind for the overall development of the child by keeping the values of Yoga. While undergoing training day by day our youngsters improve their talent and learn the virtue of tolerance.
